Henrik Löv might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sol Baeza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Löv ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Diegotxe Giribet put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sol Baeza. Sotero Colon hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Casimiro Oberto charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Oberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Casimiro Oberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Diegotxe Giribet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robert Nesta Marley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diegotxe Giribet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Robert Nesta Marley fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Robert Nesta Marley's Diegotxe Giribet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rentisto's Sol Baeza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diegotxe Giribet in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Robert Nesta Marley booed when Rentisto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soter Hesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Lluis Sotilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sol Baeza skillfully saved the ball. The Rentisto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Robert Nesta Marley were winning 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Soter Hesa to make the kick off. Henrik Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sol Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Nesta Marley's Diegotxe Giribet got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Diegotxe Giribet in the 62nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Sol Baeza kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-10 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 64th match minute, Robert Nesta Marley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chepe Deleon to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Henrik Löv notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Rentisto's Sol Baeza. Sol Baeza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diegotxe Giribet in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sol Baeza saved Rentisto from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Henrik Löv put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Sol Baeza. When Casimiro Oberto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. Amadeo Miranes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Diegotxe Giribet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robert Nesta Marley's supporters rose to their feet, but Diegotxe Giribet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sol Baeza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sol Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sol Baeza had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Henrik Löv's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 89th match minute, Rentisto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotero Colon to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Miranes charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Miranes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 98 played minutes Rentisto got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Miranes. The Rentisto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Robert Nesta Marley were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
