After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Soter Hesa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rentisto's supporters rose to their feet, but Soter Hesa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eneko Edeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Miranes in the 7th minute of play forced Paysandú FCU's goalkeeper Eneko Edeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Baeza was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Urdin Burgoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Urdin Burgoa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Paysandú FCU's Mitxel Moyuelo got a free kick in the 15th minute. A hard shot 18 in the game by Urdin Burgoa from a close distance when the talented Sol Baeza managed to make a qualified save. Rentisto's players were relieved. In the 19th minute, Mantzio Baragaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paysandú FCU! Paysandú FCU:s Eneko Edeon showed great skill when he stopped Urtungo Torre:s penalty. Soter Hesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Edeon having to interfere. In the 31st minute Soter Hesa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Edeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Urdin Burgoa sped through Rentisto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sol Baeza. Soter Hesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Edeon having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urdin Burgoa in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sol Baeza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mantzio Baragaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sol Baeza having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Rentisto got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Miranes. Sol Baeza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Soter Hesa made the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Miranes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mantzio Baragaño hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Paysandú FCU getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mitxel Moyuelo hit a great ball. Urtungo Torre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eneko Edeon. Paysandú FCU's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Paysandú FCU getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mantzio Baragaño hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Miranes during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paysandú FCU booed when Rentisto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Miranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sol Baeza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gombal Cañal, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Isaac Affonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sol Baeza. Rentisto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gombal Cañal hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Paysandú FCU made a substitution. Otoniel Rafecas replaced Muc Amandi. Paysandú FCU's Fernandez Argudo was substituted for Napier Puget. The supporters of Rentisto booed when Paysandú FCU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gombal Cañal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rentisto's Sol Baeza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gombal Cañal in the 72nd minute of play. Paysandú FCU's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Soter Hesa scored to the left of an out of position Eneko Edeon, making the score, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rentisto's zone, Urdin Burgoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sol Baeza came out of the goal and Urdin Burgoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th match minute, Paysandú FCU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mantzio Baragaño to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, Rentisto's Birjaio Domao made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eneko Edeon was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon got control of the ball when Amadeo Miranes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paysandú FCU's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Soter Hesa 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-3. Paysandú FCU succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rentisto had controlled the match.
