The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wanderers U's Quintan Samaniego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Wanderers U from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Wanderers U's goalkeeper Quintan Samaniego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazaro Dias. Melchor Omente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montrelle Forteza having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastia Asencio in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montrelle Forteza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bastia Asencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lazaro Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mederi Bodelon charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mederi Bodelon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Wanderers U got a freekick which was hit by Mederi Bodelon.

Ximen Ufret kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Chago Theas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentim Ontavilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintan Samaniego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Melchor Omentes short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Montrelle Forteza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 60 minutes into the game, Guillen Helguera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo Torque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wanderers U the free kick. Guillen Helguera hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Montrelle Forteza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Omente in the 65th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bastia Asencio sped through Montevideo Torque's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Montrelle Forteza. 77 minutes into the match, Ramond Zapico notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Wanderers U's Quintan Samaniego. Quintan Samaniego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Aldo Hortero in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wanderers U's Ximen Ufret. After 83 minutes, Melchor Omente made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Montevideo Torque's Montrelle Forteza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endura Borrajo in the 87th minute of play forced Wanderers U's goalkeeper Quintan Samaniego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentim Ontavilla made a great header on Montevideo Torque's corner, it was just that Wanderers U's Quintan Samaniego managed to reach the ball for a save.
