With a little luck, Real Bañil de Tala's Mede Torienzo got control of the ball when Rocendo Fornell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esquipula Betolaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tirso Conill, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rocendo Fornell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mede Torienzo made a huge save. Mede Torienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Botello Arizabaleta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Lopes Avendaño made a precise shot to the right of Mede Torienzo. Real Bañil de Tala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The Echevarria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Echevarria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
