Soca's Bordat Vinayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Soca from getting a goal against them. Tallia Villaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tallia Villaro in the 10th minute of play. When Xepe Torrescassana fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soca's protests and gave Xepe Torrescassana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Soca's Xepe Torrescassana got a free kick in the 12th minute. Fagondo Urioste struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bordat Vinayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paso de la Arena. 19 minutes into the match, Paso de la Arena's goal looked a bit too open when Tallia Villaro came free, but Victorino Qwinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fagondo Urioste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso de la Arena's supporters rose to their feet, but Fagondo Urioste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bordat Vinayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Cismado in the 26th minute of play. Victorino Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tallia Villaro in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Osorio Massey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bordat Vinayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Severiano Fauria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victorino Qwinton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 played minutes, Soca's Xepe Torrescassana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorino Qwinton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soca reached it. Victorino Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tallia Villaro in the 42nd minute of play. Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tallia Villaro in the 44th minute of play. Victorino Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marques Cedeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Paskal Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 57th minute Soca were awarded a corner. Santutxo Belandia went to the cornerflag to take it. Paso de la Arena's Garcia Llanderas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Osorio Massey made a precise shot to the right of Bordat Vinayo. Soca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 67 minutes, Cássio Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paso de la Arena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osorio Massey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, one of Paso de la Arena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paso de la Arena. The referee gave Soca a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santutxo Belandia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton. 1-2. After 74 minutes, Marques Cedeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soca and the Paso de la Arena players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Paso de la Arena booed when Soca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marques Cedeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garcia Llanderas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bordat Vinayo having to interfere. Cássio Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cássio Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Paso de la Arena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Arantes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton got control of the ball when Tallia Villaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes Paso de la Arena got a freekick which was hit by Fagondo Urioste. Cássio Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leon Cismado fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soca's protests and gave Leon Cismado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Leon Cismado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fagondo Urioste might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bordat Vinayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fagondo Urioste ran back to his position shaking his head. Tallia Villaro took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Qwinton. Victorino Qwinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Paso de la Arena manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Soca to win.
