But to his dismay, Napier Zurica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Pinchazo booed when Masoller AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogerio Almenester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Chacin's late challenge caught a Pinchazo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pinchazo's Napier Zurica got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napier Zurica in the 40th minute of play forced Masoller AFC's goalkeeper Patricio Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Orozco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Martinez in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Agustin Martinez sped through Masoller AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Orozco. After the first half Pinchazo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Masoller AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Chacin. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Agustin Martinez sped through Masoller AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Orozco. With his leg Patricio Orozco managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Pinchazo's Agustin Martinez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pinchazo played a much better game than Masoller AFC and deserved their victory. The Masoller AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
