Patricio Orozco came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Treinta y tres FC's Meriç Yalazan. But to his dismay, Meriç Yalazan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Treinta y tres FC booed when Masoller AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marz Oporto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horado Fano struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Csaba Görbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masoller AFC. Csaba Görbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Chacin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Masoller AFC defense, Meriç Yalazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Orozco. The Masoller AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Orozco should have stopped the shot. If Eugenio Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Csaba Görbe was a little too slow when Sergio Chacin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-2. When %teams%'s Sergio Chacin was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-2 just inside the left pole, 46 minutes into the game. Csaba Görbe was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Chacin to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meriç Yalazan in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Masoller AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baladi Come to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Meriç Yalazan made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Orozco. Masoller AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Treinta y tres FC were furious when Ariel Martxelin was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 59 minutes into the game, one of Treinta y tres FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rogerio Almenester placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 62 minutes into the match, Treinta y tres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogerio Almenester came free, but Csaba Görbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Meriç Yalazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Masoller AFC's Patricio Orozco got control of the ball when Meriç Yalazan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xian Quiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Patricio Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pepillo Lena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Yalazan in the 91st minute of play forced Masoller AFC's goalkeeper Patricio Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Masoller AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Meriç Yalazan scored to the left of an out of position Patricio Orozco, making the score, 2-4.
