The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Masoller AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marz Oporto to maneuver through the defense. Iago Mimbreño kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Masoller AFC defense, Jakobe Badia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Orozco. The Masoller AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Orozco should have stopped the shot. Elivareo Capitillo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Yaniusky Basante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Orozco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Vila FC's Istvan Kowalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Vila FC from getting a goal against them. Istvan Kowalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Chacin in the 29th minute of play. Patricio Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Goemyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vila FC's Jasper Goemyne got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 44 played minutes Masoller AFC got a freekick which was hit by Iago Mimbreño. If Jasper Goemyne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Jasper Goemyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Chacin to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Marz Oporto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Istvan Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jasper Goemyne took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Patricio Orozco to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 65 minutes, Jasper Goemyne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jasper Goemyne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th play minute Erasto Herrero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patricio Orozco. 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila FC's Txaran Arcaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patricio Orozco. That made the score 0-7 after 71 minutes of play. Txaran Arcaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Orozco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jasper Goemyne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Goemyne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Orozco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tximitx Elcano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Rogerio Almenester came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Masoller AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogerio Almenester couldn't finish the play. Marz Oporto hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Vila FC's Jasper Goemyne in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masoller AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Vila FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
