After 20 minutes, Arslan Cengel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algorta and the Piriapolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arslan Cengel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Arslan Cengel was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santio Sabando to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santio Sabando got free with Fernandez Vielva in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
