Oto Zuaznas short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Fernandez Vielva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oto Zuazna got free with Fernandez Vielva in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veli Kartal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marz Danzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Canterano's Marco Hornedo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oto Zuazna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Fernandez Vielva when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Fernandez Vielva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oto Zuazna in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Sindo Rosales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piriapolis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canterano the free kick. Fernandez Vielva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 87th minute, Oto Zuazna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernandez Vielva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Canterano's goalkeeper Veli Kartal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marz Danzo. 94 minutes into the game, Oto Zuazna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fernandez Vielva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Hornedo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
