In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Treviso FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Iraido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Ferro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordarrell Sarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Treviso FC's Alejandro Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spiridon Lekov in the 39th minute of play. Alejandro Iraido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spiridon Lekov's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a little luck, PEÑAROL PIPERO's Oscar Ferro got control of the ball when Cordarrell Sarro tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Spiridon Lekov made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Treviso FC's zone, Spiridon Lekov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Iraido came out of the goal and Spiridon Lekov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PEÑAROL PIPERO made a substitution. Procopio Mayorga replaced Agustín Alvarez. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Millrick Portanares was substituted for Peli Carreño. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Padro Mayorga was substituted for Spiridon Lekov. Gonsalvo Cerra scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Ferro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Padro Mayorga in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alejandro Iraido, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, PEÑAROL PIPERO's Alejandro Iraido threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Procopio Mayorga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PEÑAROL PIPERO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
