Nacional's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrea Heraso in the 6th minute. Nacional's Andrea Heraso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Themba Takane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themba Takane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Aveiro. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Grabiel Escorcia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Damiano Fioravanti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cimarrones F.C. the free kick. Nacional:s Cristiano Aveiro showed great skill when he stopped Brecht Dheedene:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brecht Dheedene got free with Cristiano Aveiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grabiel Escorcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Themba Takane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Cimarrones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ubarna Donallo. Themba Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Stuart Mayo hit a great ball. 35 minutes in the game, Xaime Urrechua dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 39th minute Taniel Kips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themba Takane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s Taniel Kips sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Aveiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Themba Takane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brecht Dheedene was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Taniel Kips left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cimarrones F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Ubarna Donallo with Xaime Urrechua as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaime Urrechua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grabiel Escorcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Themba Takane made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Grabiel Escorcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Grabiel Escorcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Themba Takane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brecht Dheedene in the 70th minute of the match. Cristiano Aveiro came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene. But to his dismay, Brecht Dheedene quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 78 played minutes Cimarrones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rutenio Respaldizar. Themba Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 80th minute of the match. Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cimarrones F.C. from getting a goal against them. Themba Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Sha in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 94th minute of play forced Cimarrones F.C.'s goalkeeper Themba Takane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cimarrones F.C. had played much better football throughout.
