The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Palos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when Club Gardel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Arripe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Carballo scored 7-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorien Tros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorien Tros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Carballo in the 92nd minute of play.
