Gustav Niilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saverio Campaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Costa made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Manuel Antonio Nisen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Campaña got free with Juan Carlos Costa in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saverio Campaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Costa having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Elías Iñiguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabana's Juan Carlos Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Alvarado in the 44th minute of play forced Norte Arica's goalkeeper Gustav Niilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After 54 played minutes Norte Arica got a freekick which was hit by Laurín Bolivar. The supporters of Norte Arica booed when Cabana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Quintano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elías Iñiguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Norte Arica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Fornes to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Gustav Niilo made a huge save. Elías Iñiguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Costa having to interfere. A collision led to Norte Arica getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eloi Marre hit a great ball. After 73 minutes of play Norte Arica's Eloi Marre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 73 played minutes Norte Arica got a freekick which was hit by Eloi Marre. The crowd rose to their feet as Cabana's Evelio Alvarado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustav Niilo. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Laurín Bolivar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norte Arica's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurín Bolivar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Carlos Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Saverio Campaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Norte Arica booed when Cabana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siluna Pagueguy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustav Niilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Alvarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Norte Arica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cabana's performance. The match ended with a win for Cabana.
