Fermín Ayala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silviano Sazie went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Simios F.C's Rolando Cabrito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fermín Ayala. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Los Simios F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mercurio Abufhele came free, but Alarico Andrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Los Simios F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Garza to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Melirupo FC got a freekick which was hit by Odilón Plaza. In the 59th minute of the match Adelmo Price shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermín Ayala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Silviano Sazie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Simios F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviano Sazie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
