If Gaspar Crawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Quilan's Adelino Landon got a free kick in the 10th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Barrabases F.C's Severo Falcón tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Isaac Casanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Puebla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Bastarrica in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilan's goalkeeper Isaac Casanova, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Raymundo Bastarrica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quilan's zone, Raymundo Bastarrica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Casanova came out of the goal and Raymundo Bastarrica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Quilan's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Bastarrica came free, but Isaac Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Casanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Puebla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymundo Bastarrica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Casanova read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Quilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Schindler to maneuver through the defense. Quilan's Isaac Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymundo Bastarrica in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Quilan's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Bastarrica came free, but Isaac Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Savier Godínez fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilan's protests and gave Savier Godínez a yellow card for diving instead. Savier Godínez hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. In the 50th minute Desiderio Lisperguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Villota was the one to do the kick off. When Rolando Villota came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Quilan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Villota couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Villota in the 58th minute of play forced Barrabases F.C's goalkeeper Fabián Anthony to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Rolando Villota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabián Anthony was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fabián Anthony made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Villota in the 74th minute of play. Rolando Villota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Barrabases F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ruesga Caroca hit a great ball. Raymundo Bastarrica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Casanova having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quilan's Esteban Schindler got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes, Brian Viñuela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilan and the Barrabases F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Quilan got a freekick which was hit by Brian Viñuela. Esteban Schindler struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fabián Anthony didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilan. 96 minutes into the match, Barrabases F.C's Raymundo Bastarrica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Casanova narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quilan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barrabases F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
