An unexpectedly hard shot by Esequiel Masson in the 5th minute of play forced UnfiernoCruzado's goalkeeper Candido Arangua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zarpas Frost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baraquiel Rosende in the 7th minute of the match. Inocente Sotelo's late challenge caught a Chonchi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocente Sotelo helped the player get up and apologised. Inocente Sotelo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Luis María Ovalles short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Candido Arangua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gabino Bobadilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Arangua was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hugo Orlando Pena. Esequiel Masson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 18 in the game by Luis María Ovalle from a close distance when the talented Candido Arangua managed to make a qualified save. UnfiernoCruzado's players were relieved. In the 19th minute Esequiel Masson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Arangua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis María Ovalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baraquiel Rosende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabino Bobadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Blanco Buchanan fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chonchi AFC's protests and gave Blanco Buchanan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Remi Rodríguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, UnfiernoCruzado's goalkeeper Candido Arangua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reyes Pellegrini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esequiel Masson in the 42nd minute of play forced UnfiernoCruzado's goalkeeper Candido Arangua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, UnfiernoCruzado's goal looked a bit too open when Esequiel Masson came free, but Candido Arangua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With his leg Zarpas Frost managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when UnfiernoCruzado's Baraquiel Rosende fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Candido Arangua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis María Ovalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Arangua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis María Ovalle in the 59th minute of the match. Esequiel Masson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Candido Arangua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chonchi AFC. Esequiel Masson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baraquiel Rosende got free with Zarpas Frost in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Chonchi AFC's Blanco Buchanan got a free kick in the 71st minute. Baraquiel Rosende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Zarpas Frost made a huge save. Esequiel Masson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Arangua having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Chonchi AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baraquiel Rosende fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Esequiel Masson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Candido Arangua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esequiel Masson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Arangua having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Chonchi AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baraquiel Rosende fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chonchi AFC's goalkeeper Zarpas Frost, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gabino Bobadilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. UnfiernoCruzado's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabino Bobadilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarpas Frost breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
