The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Severino Quintupran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Viviano Caroca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Illapata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maximiliano Balmaceda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelio Requena in the 18th minute of play. If Giancarlo Albarran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mandoneados FC booed when Illapata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giancarlo Albarran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Giancarlo Albarran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alcides Fanta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Quintupran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Illapata getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rafael Campino hit a great ball. Adelio Requena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Balmaceda having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Mandoneados FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Caszely. The Illapata fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Illapata's Giancarlo Albarran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Viviano Caroca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alcides Fanta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcides Fanta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giancarlo Albarran in the 45th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giancarlo Albarran to strike the kick off in the second half. Mandoneados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelio Requena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes, Mandoneados FC's Eleuterio Caszely shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Balmaceda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mandoneados FC reached it. In the 72nd match minute, Mandoneados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selmo Paillao to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes in the game Fabricio Ried got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. When Giancarlo Albarran came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Illapata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giancarlo Albarran couldn't finish the play. Julio Felice charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Felice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Felice hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Illapata's Giancarlo Albarran was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Illapata's Viviano Caroca got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Rafael Campino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illapata and the Mandoneados FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A long shot from Higinio Pumarino in the 93rd minute of play was well struck, but Alcides Fanta made a really good save at the right post. Viviano Caroca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Alcides Fanta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Illapata played a much better game than Mandoneados FC and deserved their victory. The Mandoneados FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
