If Hernán Cruchaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Quinchen's late challenge caught a HUEVOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Quinchen helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Alberto Monzón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernán Cruchaga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, HUEVOS FC's Cerilo Sierralta threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eleazar Saldaña, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Taltape AFC's Fulco Daldos got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alonso Sutil's late challenge caught a Taltape AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
