When Bernardino Millapan came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lonco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Millapan couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Baraquiel Fridman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcos Francisco Zúñiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Millapan in the 27th minute of play forced Refugio's goalkeeper Alex Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Refugio's goalkeeper Alex Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Valdovinos. Lonco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baraquiel Fridman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Lonco FC's zone, Baraquiel Fridman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Francisco Zúñiga came out of the goal and Baraquiel Fridman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Refugio getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Zebulón Carranza hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Lonco FC got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Valdovinos. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Salbatore Pujadas took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Marcos Francisco Zúñiga to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute, Salbatore Pujadas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute of the match, Adalberto Fagalde got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Francisco Zúñiga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Refugio players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
