With 34 minutes on the clock, Arnaldo Máximo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Sagbara AFC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. If Demetrio Portusagasti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Futalelfu FC's Xaime Requena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elodio Bulnes in the 88th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Joel Orostegui notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Futalelfu FC's Xaime Requena. Xaime Requena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sagbara AFC played a much better game than Futalelfu FC and deserved their victory. The Futalelfu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
