The referee ignored Faeneros futbol PAC's protests and gave Francisco Antonio Tolhauzsen a yellow card for diving instead. Casimiro Donoso had several of the Naval Talcahuano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Bautista Scapini as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 30th minute, Abelado Spöerer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Esequiel Fabiani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillaume Kant was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Carlos Alberto Pinuer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bautista Scapini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Donoso in the 42nd minute of play. Casimiro Donoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bautista Scapini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Donoso ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alberto Pinuer to strike the kick off in the second half. Laureano Abbatte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bautista Scapini having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Naval Talcahuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Ansieta to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Naval Talcahuano's Esequiel Fabiani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillaume Kant. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. With a little luck, Faeneros futbol PAC's Guillaume Kant got control of the ball when Esequiel Fabiani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillaume Kant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelado Spöerer in the 65th minute of the match. Casimiro Donoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Pinuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillaume Kant was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Naval Talcahuano's zone, Casimiro Donoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bautista Scapini came out of the goal and Casimiro Donoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carlos Alberto Pinuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Faeneros futbol PAC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Pinuer came free, but Guillaume Kant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Esequiel Fabiani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guillaume Kant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Faeneros futbol PAC's goalkeeper Guillaume Kant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esequiel Fabiani. After a rather tough play, Faeneros futbol PAC's Salomone Urenda got a free kick in the 88th minute. Esequiel Fabiani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guillaume Kant. Faeneros futbol PAC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laureano Abbatte hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Pinuer in the 93rd minute of play forced Faeneros futbol PAC's goalkeeper Guillaume Kant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Casimiro Donoso came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Faeneros futbol PAC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Donoso couldn't finish the play. Bautista Scapini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Donoso's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
