Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jose Miguel Quintano took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jose Miguel Quintano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Miguel Quintano in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rollo Gavilán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Topocho Ayarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lander Basualto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Duao's Rollo Gavilán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Miguel Quintano in the 11th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Jose Miguel Quintano in the 12th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 16th minute, Sandro Paravic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL HISTORIADOR FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match Juan Manuel Palamara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rollo Gavilán showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jose Miguel Quintano struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rollo Gavilán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL HISTORIADOR FC.. Rollo Gavilán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Miguel Quintano's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Duao's Topocho Ayarza got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rollo Gavilán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Miguel Quintano in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Rogelio Garzo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rollo Gavilán showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 64thth minute of the game Jose Miguel Quintano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duao's Rollo Gavilán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Jose Miguel Quintano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rollo Gavilán. Jose Miguel Quintano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Miguel Quintano in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rollo Gavilán saved Duao from getting behind. Rogelio Garzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rollo Gavilán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duao's Topocho Ayarza got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Topocho Ayarza off the ground. Rollo Gavilán acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Niguel Aninat. Enrique Mariano Langdon's late challenge caught a Duao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Mariano Langdon helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes EL HISTORIADOR FC. got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Mariano Langdon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Miguel Quintano in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rollo Gavilán saved Duao from getting behind. Rollo Gavilán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Miguel Quintano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Sandro Paravic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL HISTORIADOR FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Paravic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Duao getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Angelino Zubelzu hit a great ball. Jose Miguel Quintano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Rollo Gavilán when he managed to save the team from getting behind. EL HISTORIADOR FC. played a much better game than Duao and deserved their victory. The Duao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
