In the 15th minute, Ariano Macuer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ayaviri's Lorencio Estay didn't even have to move. Lorencio Estay made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Miguel Ángel Vidma sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Maximino Urquieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorencio Estay was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Bolton was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alqui's goalkeeper Emiliano Rufo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Urquieta in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorencio Estay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Yeray Asenjo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Miguel Ángel Vidma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Ayaviri got a freekick which was hit by Xavián Cousiño. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Vidma in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorencio Estay saved Ayaviri from getting behind. Elias Villalobos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Amadeo Aravena sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Emiliano Rufo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Amadeo Aravena this time. Ayaviri's Lorencio Estay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Urquieta in the 84th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Godofredo Grove mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayaviri and the Alqui players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Ayaviri got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Grove. In the 94th minute Maximino Urquieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorencio Estay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Bolton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Rufo having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alqui fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ayaviri had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
