Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lander Basualto started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Tuna Talcahuano's Milián Viel got control of the ball when Francisco Antonio Aldana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute Rodolfo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rollo Gavilán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Larrauna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Zubelzu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Zubelzu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tuna Talcahuano booed when Duao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Zubelzu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Larrauna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rollo Gavilán having to interfere. Haroldo Larrauna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Antonio Aldana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milián Viel having to interfere. Francisco Antonio Aldana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tuna Talcahuano's Osvaldo Latorre got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rodolfo Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rollo Gavilán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Lander Basualto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milián Viel having to make a save.

Haroldo Larrauna made a great header on Tuna Talcahuano's corner, it was just that Duao's Rollo Gavilán managed to reach the ball for a save. Tuna Talcahuano's Milián Viel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lolo Meza in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Duao's zone, Haroldo Larrauna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rollo Gavilán came out of the goal and Haroldo Larrauna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quintén Trouve during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Quintén Trouve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lander Basualto struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Milián Viel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duao. Topocho Ayarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milián Viel having to interfere. Milián Viel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Antonio Aldana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Lander Basualto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milián Viel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Francisco Antonio Aldana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Milián Viel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haroldo Larrauna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rollo Gavilán having to make a save. Rodolfo Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rollo Gavilán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. Duao's Eric Landman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Genaro Gajardo, made in the 89th minute of the game. When Haroldo Larrauna came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tuna Talcahuano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Larrauna couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Duao fully deserved thier win.
