Geofredo Larraona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavi Diaz de León in the 5th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Fernando Tolhauzsen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Geofredo Larraona to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Ulises Abusleme got a free kick in the 14th minute. Remicio Price received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Geofredo Larraona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geofredo Larraona was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xavi Diaz de León showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. After 26 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Abusleme. 30 minutes into the match, Erasmo Bazaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Cavareda. AFC Richmond's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Bazaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Geofredo Larraona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remicio Price in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Tinguaro Donoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Xavi Diaz de León came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the AFC Richmond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavi Diaz de León couldn't finish the play. Geofredo Larraona was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Fernando Tolhauzsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fernando Tolhauzsen really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Juampi Coparao FC's Geofredo Larraona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavi Diaz de León in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mariano Valderas made the kick off in the second half. Geofredo Larraona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Diaz de León in the 51st minute of play. After 54 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Xavi Diaz de León. Remicio Price sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Abusleme's late challenge caught a Juampi Coparao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Abusleme helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Abusleme.
