After 12 minutes, Quentín Raheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ancovinto FC and the Chelin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ancovinto FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Quentín Raheiro hit a great ball. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes Narciso Villar shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Mariano Guisado when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Calixto Martel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancovinto FC's Mariano Guisado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabián Marty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chelin booed when Ancovinto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Caszely didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ancovinto FC's Mariano Guisado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabián Marty in the 22nd minute of play. During the 23rd minute of the match Quentín Raheiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Quentín Raheiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With his leg Mariano Guisado managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Chelin's Calixto Martel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Romelio Reynero fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ancovinto FC's protests and gave Romelio Reynero a yellow card for diving instead. Romelio Reynero kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ancovinto FC's zone, Narciso Villar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Guisado came out of the goal and Narciso Villar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Jaume Cancino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Jaume Cancino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Máximo Faure. Chelin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaume Cancino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ancovinto FC's Mariano Guisado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calixto Martel in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Calixto Martel made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Luciano Llana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Máximo Faure was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Fabián Marty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Guisado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Jaume Cancino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancovinto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaume Cancino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Guisado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ángel Acle, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Jaume Cancino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ancovinto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaume Cancino couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Calixto Martel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelin's supporters rose to their feet, but Calixto Martel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Guisado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 played minutes Ancovinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Caszely. When Frances Zumelzu fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelin's protests and gave Frances Zumelzu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ancovinto FC booed when Chelin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frances Zumelzu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ancovinto FC's Igon Manns got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Mariano Guisado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calixto Martel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Juan Caszely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Villar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Guisado. Ancovinto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Chelin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ancovinto FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ancovinto FC.
