Spectators: 8070 (Terracing: 6054, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lolo Bolivar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Choroico AFC's Honorio Walton got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Nacho Pincheira made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Lolo Bolivar sent off a good shot on target. Lolo Bolivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Salamanca during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, one of Choroico AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Choroico AFC. After 24 minutes, Hipolito Manso de Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araucampeón Retirado and the Choroico AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Araucampeón Retirado got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Manso de Velasco. In the 28th minute Matias Van Diest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calixto Tejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calixto Tejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Illanes in the 33rd minute of the match. Choroico AFC's Nacho Pincheira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lolo Bolivar in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

54 minutes into the match, Choroico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lolo Bolivar came free, but Nacho Pincheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lolo Bolivar came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Araucampeón Retirado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lolo Bolivar couldn't finish the play. Araucampeón Retirado's Lolo Ibarguen was substituted for Lolo Bolivar. Thanks to some nice moves Aristides Illanes could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Calixto Tejo however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Van Diest in the 62nd minute of play forced Araucampeón Retirado's goalkeeper Calixto Tejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Choroico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimír Crespo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Lolo Ibarguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araucampeón Retirado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lolo Ibarguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Araucampeón Retirado's Calixto Tejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Van Diest in the 78th minute of play.
