In the 18th minute, Juampi Coparao FC's Rolando Goycolea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rolando Goycolea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juampi Coparao FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rolando Goycolea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rolando Goycolea hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Geofredo Larraona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Maggi in the 52nd minute of the match. Mariano Valderas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ridwan Ashraff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Valderas ran back to his position shaking his head. Amancio Maggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amancio Maggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sisebuto Casos in the 69th minute of play forced Juampi Coparao FC's goalkeeper Geofredo Larraona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
