Adam Mahns kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josías Oquendo in the 14th minute of play forced Choroico AFC's goalkeeper Nacho Pincheira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zuniga's Demetrio Huaiquiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Carnevalli in the 18th minute of play. Feliberto Tirado kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Julián Fredes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demetrio Huaiquiman skillfully saved the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Zuniga's Javiero Cantuarias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacho Pincheira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Demetrio Huaiquiman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Van Diest's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Javiero Cantuarias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nacho Pincheira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Bauza's late challenge caught a Choroico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Bauza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Roberto Bauza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Choroico AFC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Zuniga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julián Fredes took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Carnevalli in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Huaiquiman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the game, Esteban Carnevalli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demetrio Huaiquiman. Esteban Carnevalli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With his leg Demetrio Huaiquiman managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Choroico AFC's Aristides Illanes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nacho Pincheira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josías Oquendo in the 47th minute of play.

Matias Van Diest's late challenge caught a Zuniga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Van Diest helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th match minute, Choroico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Van Diest to maneuver through the defense. After 52 played minutes Zuniga got a freekick which was hit by Nauzet Matute. Nacho Pincheira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adam Mahns. The supporters of Choroico AFC booed when Zuniga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javiero Cantuarias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nacho Pincheira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javiero Cantuarias's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Javiero Cantuarias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Demetrio Huaiquiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Van Diest, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Choroico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Javiero Cantuarias came free, but Nacho Pincheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Choroico AFC booed when Zuniga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nauzet Matute didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Esteban Carnevalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josías Oquendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Pincheira having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Aristides Illanes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Choroico AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 96 minutes into the match, Choroico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Javiero Cantuarias came free, but Nacho Pincheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zuniga players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Choroico AFC.
