Chelin's Máximo Faure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Carnevalli in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Aristides Illanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Carnevalli in the 23rd minute of play forced Chelin's goalkeeper Máximo Faure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Esteban Carnevalli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chelin's Máximo Faure. Máximo Faure was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Choroico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabián Marty came free, but Nacho Pincheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Chelin's Calixto Martel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nacho Pincheira. That made the score 1-2 after 32 minutes of play. In the 38th minute Fabián Marty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Pincheira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacho Pincheira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calixto Martel in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Illanes in the 41st minute of play forced Chelin's goalkeeper Máximo Faure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Illanes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Calixto Martel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Carnevalli was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Choroico AFC's Julián Fredes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Máximo Faure. In the 67th minute of the match Marciano Paez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nacho Pincheira skillfully saved the ball. Máximo Faure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Illanes in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelin's goalkeeper Máximo Faure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Máximo Faure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Máximo Faure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Carnevalli in the 93rd minute of play. Choroico AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
