After a rather tough play, CF Nacional's Enzo Anders got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Calixto Martel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardino Barria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Magdaleno Goyeneche hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes, Regino Urruticoechea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Nacional and the Chelin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes CF Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Mónico Goyenechea. Bernardino Barria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calixto Martel in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, CF Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Calixto Martel came free, but Bernardino Barria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chelin booed when CF Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norino Urrutia didn't get a good kick on the ball. CF Nacional's Bernardino Barria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Villar in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Daldos during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Daldos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Chelin's Desiderio Mahotiere in action when he in the 33rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Máximo Faure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóbal Caballero in the 35th minute of the match. Marciano Paez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Regino Urruticoechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Regino Urruticoechea might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Faure. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Regino Urruticoechea ran back to his position shaking his head. Máximo Faure made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Magdaleno Goyeneche sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Enzo Anders made the kick off in the second half. Máximo Faure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Anders in the 52nd minute of play. Bernardino Barria was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frances Zumelzu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frances Zumelzu in the 83rd minute of play forced CF Nacional's goalkeeper Bernardino Barria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Magdaleno Goyeneche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Máximo Faure was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Magdaleno Goyeneche's late challenge caught a Chelin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magdaleno Goyeneche helped the player get up and apologised. Magdaleno Goyeneche hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Chelin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
