In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuniga's goalkeeper Demetrio Huaiquiman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Josías Oquendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuniga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mariano Guisado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javiero Cantuarias, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaume Cancino got free with Demetrio Huaiquiman in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Luciano Llana in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Demetrio Huaiquiman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaume Cancino in the 32nd minute. Romelio Reynero kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Josías Oquendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Llana made a kick off. Zuniga were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Ancovinto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uriel Fanta took the corner.
