Marco Charlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Celada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Xavi Diaz de León ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Charlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Celada in the 8th minute of play forced Mapache UTD's goalkeeper Marco Charlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mapache UTD getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Robert Gumucio hit a great ball. Xavi Diaz de León scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Charlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Mapache UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Remicio Price came free, but Marco Charlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Cavareda made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Lautaro Marful sent off a good shot on target. Mapache UTD's Marco Charlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Tolhauzsen in the 19th minute of play. Mapache UTD's Marco Charlin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jasone Mowat was the one to do the kick off. Xavi Diaz de León succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 51st playminute. After 58 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Celada. After 65 minutes of play, AFC Richmond's Xavi Diaz de León made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute of the match, Felipe Hernández tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Charlin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 94 minutes into the game, Txomin Mellado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mapache UTD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Richmond the free kick. When the match was over AFC Richmond could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mapache UTD throughout the match.
