Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) FC Zulia's Ruyman Lea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karlos Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaume Cancino in the 4th minute of the match. If Jaume Cancino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvatore Ardizzoni took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Guisado. Mariano Guisado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Salvatore Ardizzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heliodoro Uriondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Guisado having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Orlondón Ormeño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zulia and the Ancovinto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Orlondón Ormeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Manuel Caballero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karlos Mota skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Ancovinto FC's Mariano Guisado got control of the ball when Salvatore Ardizzoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaume Cancino in the 39th minute of play forced FC Zulia's goalkeeper Karlos Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heliodoro Uriondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mariano Guisado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Guisado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jon-Ander Quintupil. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Llana was the one to do the kick off. Manu Ravest charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manu Ravest the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Zulia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Manu Ravest hit a great ball. Heliodoro Uriondo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mariano Guisado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zulia. After 58 played minutes Ancovinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Quentín Raheiro. 63 minutes into the game, Luciano Llana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karlos Mota. Luciano Llana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Salvatore Ardizzoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mariano Guisado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Heliodoro Uriondo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Zulia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heliodoro Uriondo couldn't finish the play. Salvatore Ardizzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Guisado having to interfere. After 73 played minutes FC Zulia got a freekick which was hit by Vinos Dean. Jon-Ander Quintupil lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. FC Zulia made a substitution. Xaime Irisarri replaced Heliodoro Uriondo. In the 76th minute, one of FC Zulia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Zulia. FC Zulia's Ruyman Lea got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Moya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Luciano Llana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Quentín Raheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ancovinto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Zulia the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Ancovinto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentín Raheiro to maneuver through the defense.
