The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Richmond's Fernando Tolhauzsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Máximo Faure. That made the score 4-0 after 38 minutes of play. A collision led to Chelin getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabián Marty hit a great ball. When AFC Richmond's Remicio Price in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Chelin defense, Vinicio Celada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Faure. The Chelin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Faure should have stopped the shot. AFC Richmond made a substitution. Aníbal Marraccini replaced Fernando Tolhauzsen. Máximo Faure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Marraccini in the 68th minute of the match. Aníbal Marraccini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Faure having to interfere. Chelin's Máximo Faure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Marraccini in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remicio Price in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máximo Faure saved Chelin from getting behind. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Silvio Amor sped through Chelin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Máximo Faure. In the 93rd minute, Gustavo Martiarena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that AFC Richmond were the better team. AFC Richmond's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
