The supporters of IMPERIO F.B.C. booed when Choroico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Van Diest didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Iturralde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Illanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Carnevalli during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Choroico AFC's Nacho Pincheira got control of the ball when Washington Deves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matteo Siña kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Godofredo Iturralde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Illanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Cornelio Jory took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nacho Pincheira to make any attempt to save it. Aristides Illanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Iturralde having to interfere. Washington Deves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Nacho Pincheira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Godofredo Iturralde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Illanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute, Washington Deves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IMPERIO F.B.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Choroico AFC's Aristides Illanes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nacho Pincheira made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lucas Manieu sent off a good shot on target. Nacho Pincheira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Deves's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Carnevalli to strike the kick off in the second half. IMPERIO F.B.C.'s Lucas Manieu pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 51 minutes into the game, Julián Fredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choroico AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IMPERIO F.B.C. the free kick. After 53 played minutes Choroico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julián Fredes. In the 53rd minute, Cornelio Jory got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 minutes, Elías Larreta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IMPERIO F.B.C. and the Choroico AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to IMPERIO F.B.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elías Larreta hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Esteban Carnevalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godofredo Iturralde was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Matias Van Diest hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Matias Van Diest kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Choroico AFC's Aristides Illanes got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elías Larreta was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Godofredo Iturralde was a little too slow when Aristides Illanes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 3-3. 73 minutes into the match, Choroico AFC's Aristides Illanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Iturralde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Durango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nacho Pincheira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Godofredo Iturralde managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Choroico AFC's Aristides Illanes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erasmo Charlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IMPERIO F.B.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
