The BARUTA FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niguel Segura should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes Duplijsa got a freekick which was hit by Lester Anania. With a little luck, BARUTA FC.'s Niguel Segura got control of the ball when Marciano Dudagoitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BARUTA FC. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adelio Huilipan hit a great ball. Niguel Segura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Torrijos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincente Barbaste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Adams, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Duplijsa's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Adams came free, but Vincente Barbaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Leonides Torrijos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niguel Segura made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marciano Dudagoitia sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Torrijos to make the kick off. Duplijsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARUTA FC. the free kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Domenico Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BARUTA FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Adams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Vincente Barbaste managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when BARUTA FC.'s Domenico Adams fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
