After 33 minutes, Oriol Fagalde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mullure AFC and the Hundido players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mullure AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Burgos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jimeno Burgos made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mullure AFC booed when Hundido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ervigio Carrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Abaitua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Burgos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes, Mullure AFC's Edilberto Toro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Abaitua came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mullure AFC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor Orella during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mullure AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tor Orella hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Malicet in the 78th minute of play forced Mullure AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Lizondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pere Ahumada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hundido's Ervigio Carrera got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Burgos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Abaitua saved Hundido from getting behind. Serafín Varletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lizondo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Mullure AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hundido:s goal. The supporters of Hundido booed when Mullure AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pedro Maggi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Serafín Varletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
