EL CHIVO F.C.'s Carlo Enríquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save EL CHIVO F.C. from getting a goal against them. Carlo Enríquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro José Pimentel in the 16th minute of play. Carlo Enríquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Hagedorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Alberto Brieba kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Paredones AFC defense, Laureano Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Alfonso Panatt. The Paredones AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Alfonso Panatt should have stopped the shot. Barni Raineri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Juan Alfonso Panatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Paredones AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Tinoco came free, but Juan Alfonso Panatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cerilo Dittmann hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Carlo Enríquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juanjo Bacheler in the 34th minute. Juan Alfonso Panatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor David Chirinos in the 35th minute of play. Laureano Tinoco scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Alfonso Panatt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Paredones AFC booed when EL CHIVO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Barni Raineri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Alfonso Panatt. The goal made the score 1-3. The supporters of EL CHIVO F.C. booed when Paredones AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Disvandis Garzón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Héctor David Chirinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Barni Raineri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL CHIVO F.C. were furious when José Alberto Brieba was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 83rd minute, one of EL CHIVO F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EL CHIVO F.C.. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Paredones AFC. Adam Davy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlo Enríquez. 2-3. In the 91st minute, Emilio Felipe Mac Kenzie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Laureano Tinoco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Alfonso Panatt. The goal made the score 2-4. Héctor David Chirinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Paredones AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EL CHIVO F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
