In the 14th minute Hipolito Barroso suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Inocencio Bahamonde's late challenge caught a Colocolito fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Bahamonde helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Colocolito fc booed when Tanguao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience was convinced that Marc Duval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pau Blanco was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc Duval in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pau Blanco saved Tanguao AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Duval in the 34th minute of play forced Tanguao AFC's goalkeeper Pau Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanguao AFC's Pau Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Duval in the 35th minute of play. Pau Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alarico Bolton, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Marc Duval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pau Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Tanguao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Duval came free, but Pau Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Sigorraga in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pau Blanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pau Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Duval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Pau Blanco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marc Duval showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. After 98 minutes Tanguao AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornelio Aranguea who took care of the corner kick. Colocolito fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
