A collision led to Tanguao AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eufrasio Quezada hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Germán Armaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pau Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Benedicto Aristorena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tanguao AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anti-Nefi-Lehitas the free kick. Benedicto Aristorena kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Tanguao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinos Bauza came free, but Pau Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Anti-Nefi-Lehitas booed when Tanguao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eufrasio Quezada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Vinos Bauza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pau Blanco. Tanguao AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinos Bauza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Tanguao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinos Bauza came free, but Pau Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pau Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Armaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Dino Rinaga made the kick off in the second half. Vinos Bauza had several of the Tanguao AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Pau Blanco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Pau Blanco made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Vinos Bauza sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Tanguao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Germán Armaza came free, but Pau Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinos Bauza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pau Blanco made a huge save. Pau Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germán Armaza in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Tanguao AFC's Pau Blanco got control of the ball when Val Conejeros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heliodoro Neruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pau Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heliodoro Neruda ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinos Bauza got free with Pau Blanco in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pau Blanco came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Anti-Nefi-Lehitas's Romano Barrenechea. But to his dismay, Romano Barrenechea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 93 minutes into the match, Tanguao AFC's goalkeeper Pau Blanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinos Bauza. Pau Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germán Armaza in the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Germán Armaza made a precise shot to the right of Pau Blanco. Tanguao AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Anti-Nefi-Lehitas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
