Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victoriano Millar started the match with the kick off. Alessandro Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Millar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ricard Ambrosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Odilón Dick went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Cachapoal AFC's Ricard Ambrosio in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Joel Dumont guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Firmín Parga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachapoal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Firmín Parga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Dumont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cachapoal AFC's Firmín Parga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salomón Ureta in the 21 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Compi's Eduardo Trincado got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Firmín Parga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Laureano Catrilao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachapoal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compi the free kick. A collision led to Cachapoal AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Laureano Catrilao hit a great ball. Alessandro Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odilón Dick in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cachapoal AFC's zone, Odilón Dick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Amaral came out of the goal and Odilón Dick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayron Hormann in the 36th minute of play forced Cachapoal AFC's goalkeeper Alessandro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricard Ambrosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Odilón Dick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricard Ambrosio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Odilón Dick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 minutes, Salomón Ureta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compi and the Cachapoal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Compi getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Salomón Ureta hit a great ball. Ricard Ambrosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Dumont having to interfere. Joel Dumont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricard Ambrosio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute of the game Alessandro Borja made a throw-in which Angelillo Hiriart played forward. Joel Dumont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro José Urenda, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Victoriano Millar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Amaral having to interfere. Cachapoal AFC's Alessandro Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Millar in the 84th minute of play. Ricard Ambrosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ricard Ambrosio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Dumont was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
