When Alifonso Orbegoso came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the CONEJO VELOZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alifonso Orbegoso couldn't finish the play. Estevan Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Goleš, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Basil Boli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When CONEJO VELOZ's Juan Cristóbal Doursther in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS made a substitution. Gerónimo Maquieira replaced José Ignacio Hanssen. Silvio Serrano struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS's Şükrü Erek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Cristóbal Doursther in the 84th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Yuri Djorkaeff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estevan Paul came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS's Emiliano Pardow. But to his dismay, Emiliano Pardow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CONEJO VELOZ's performance. The match ended with a win for CONEJO VELOZ.
