Ján Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savier Milroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Juan Alfonso Bastidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Mele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lander Alejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudio Mele came out and tried to block the shot, but Lander Alejo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savier Milroy in the 23rd minute of play. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Claudio Mele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miquel Argomedo in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Parque Arrau FC got a corner. CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vasco Cuevas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Parque Arrau FC's Vasco Cuevas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudio Mele in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lander Alejo in the 40th minute of play forced CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalkeeper Claudio Mele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Fabiszak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gaston Cabrito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, CF Eleven Lions 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Oxman came free, but Claudio Mele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CF Eleven Lions 2007 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Parque Arrau FC.
