In the 10th minute Alirio Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gatha Niby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincente Lobo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Graneros's Gatha Niby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Cañas in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Eleazar Illescas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Graneros's Gatha Niby. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Cesaro made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Deportivo San Pedro's Eleazar Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gatha Niby. Gatha Niby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 62ndth minute of the game Eleazar Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graneros's Gatha Niby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Eleazar Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gatha Niby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Graneros's Gatha Niby got control of the ball when Esteban Segura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gatha Niby came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Pedro's Oliverio Moñiz. But to his dismay, Oliverio Moñiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 69th minute, Aureliano Cesaro had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Benjamín Parrini fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo San Pedro's protests and gave Benjamín Parrini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Benjamín Parrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gatha Niby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Jesus Vicencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliverio Moñiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Deportivo San Pedro's Oliverio Moñiz made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gatha Niby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horacio Jesus Vicencio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gatha Niby came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Jesus Vicencio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 82nd minute. Gatha Niby came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Pedro's Oliverio Moñiz. But to his dismay, Oliverio Moñiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Deportivo San Pedro were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Graneros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eleazar Illescas took the corner. Graneros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Eleazar Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Gatha Niby, making the score, 0-15. The Graneros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo San Pedro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
