In the 21stth minute of the game Abel Hoefler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's Juan Pablo Magnani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aníbal Canitrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Pablo Magnani having to interfere. Aníbal Canitrot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Pablo Magnani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Aníbal Canitrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ultimo Batallon de Wotan's Juan Pablo Magnani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Canitrot in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Concepción's Marco Nordenflycht nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Pablo Magnani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Marco Nordenflycht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Pablo Magnani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karlos Aristizaval was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balendín Irarrázaval couldn't finish the play. Concepción played a much better game than Ultimo Batallon de Wotan and deserved their victory. The Ultimo Batallon de Wotan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
