Mario Jesus Llana didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 41st minute, Isadoro Gundian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

Algarrobo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
