With a little luck, Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra got control of the ball when Raymundo Carilao tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Carilao came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 53rd minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper José Augusto Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Sergiu Zgrăbunţa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. José Augusto Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Augusto Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Visen Allu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but José Augusto Oliveira made a huge save. Altermundi FC's Pío Ducoing was substituted for Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. 76 minutes into the game, Xaime Mac Gill threw the ball into play from the sideline. Altermundi FC's Pedro Reyes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pío Ducoing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Augusto Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Altermundi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ornitorrincos F.C. the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pío Ducoing to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Pío Ducoing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymundo Carilao in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Altermundi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
