Amadeo Arens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper José Augusto Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Assueko F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Don Pico in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes of play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Joaquin Havier made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alirio Ducoing was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alirio Ducoing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabino Calvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Amadeo Arens got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The Assueko F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ornitorrincos F.C. were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerónimo Molina was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim dos Santos got free with Alirio Ducoing in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Assueko F.C.'s Gerónimo Molina got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Don Pico made a great header on Assueko F.C.'s corner, it was just that Ornitorrincos F.C.'s José Augusto Oliveira managed to reach the ball for a save. After 72 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xaime Mac Gill. Gerónimo Molina scored 1-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Augusto Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Gerónimo Molina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Oliveira was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Juan María Avaria's late challenge caught a Ornitorrincos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan María Avaria helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Assueko F.C.'s Juan María Avaria got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerónimo Molina in the 87th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper José Augusto Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Assueko F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hernán Restat hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Hermínio Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Assueko F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ornitorrincos F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Assueko F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Assueko F.C.'s goalkeeper Alirio Ducoing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymundo Carilao. When the match was over Ornitorrincos F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Assueko F.C. throughout the match.
